Customize your sidebar

Pin the pages you open most to the top of the sidebar and hide the ones you never use. The layout is yours alone and follows you to every device.

The sidebar lists every page you have access to, grouped by area. If you spend most of your day on three of them, pin those and they sit in their own Pinned group at the top. Pages you never open can be hidden so the list stays short.

Steps

Click Customize sidebar at the bottom of the sidebar.
Use the pin icon next to a page to pin it. Pinned pages appear at the top in the order you pinned them.
Use the eye icon to hide a page from the sidebar.
Click Done. Reset clears every pin and hidden page.

Good to know

The layout is saved to your profile, so it is the same on any computer you sign in on.
The collapse arrow at the bottom switches the sidebar to a narrow icon rail, and that choice is remembered too.
Hidden pages stay one search away in the command palette.

Questions

Does hiding a page remove my access?

No. Hiding only tidies your sidebar. You can still open the page by URL or by searching for it with Cmd+K or Ctrl+K, and admins decide access separately.

Can an admin set a default sidebar for everyone?

Admins choose which modules exist for the whole team under Settings, then Modules. Each person arranges what is left for themselves.
