Sales call coaching software for agencies
Every prospect call scored. Every rep coached. Most owners coach sales by sitting in on the odd call. Instead, every recorded prospect call gets a scorecard and up to five things the rep can do better, each one quoting what was said.
An illustration, not a real call.
Why it matters
Most sales calls are never reviewed. Reps repeat the same habits until a deal is lost.
Not only the call you happened to join. Every recorded prospect call is scored.
Up to five specific points per call, each tied to the moment it happened.
The same rules score every rep and every call, so the scores mean the same thing.
Your recorder already transcribes the call. Verbial reads it next to the deal, so the scorecard sits on the call and on the deal it belongs to.
How it works
Record the call. The coaching follows.
- Connect your recorder
Fireflies, tl;dv or Granola. Prospect calls are picked out from internal meetings and client calls.
- Every prospect call is scored
Discovery, pitch, qualification and close, out of 100, with the outcome of the call.
- Reps get their coaching
Up to five points to work on, each quoting the line it is about, with the time it was said and a link to the recording.
The frameworks
Built on published sales research, applied to agency sales calls.
The rubric does not invent its own idea of a good call. It scores the habits that sales research has studied for decades, on the calls your team already records.
SPIN Selling grew out of Neil Rackham's study of 35,000 sales calls. The rubric looks for its four kinds of question: situation, problem, implication and need-payoff.
A pitch counts when the buyer stated a need first and the pitch answers it. Pitching before the buyer has said what they need is flagged.
Metrics, economic buyer, decision criteria, decision process, paper process, pain, champion and competition. The scorecard shows which ones the call covered.
Rackham separates an advance, a specific step the buyer agrees to, from a continuation, a pleasant call that goes nowhere. The rep asks for a commitment and leaves with a date.
What you get
Every point rests on a quote that was checked against the transcript.
The AI only finds the quotes. Fixed rules award the points, so every call is held to the same standard.
Pitched before the buyer stated a need. Ended without a dated next step.
Order, advance, continuation or no sale, so you know which calls moved the deal.
Admins see every rep's calls. Reps see only their own.
An admin can correct a point and add a note. The scorecard shows what changed.
Common questions
Which calls are scored?
Prospect calls recorded with Fireflies, tl;dv or Granola. Internal meetings, client calls and no-shows are left out, and any call can be excluded from scoring.
What is the score based on?
Four sections drawn from published sales research: SPIN-style discovery questions, a pitch that answers a need the buyer stated, the MEDDPICC qualification checklist, and a close on a dated next step. Each call scores out of 100. Talk time can raise a flag but never changes the score.
Does the AI decide the score?
No. The AI pulls quotes from the transcript. Each quote is checked against the transcript, and fixed rules award the points from the quotes that pass, so every point links back to the line it came from.
Who can see a rep's calls?
Reps see their own calls and scorecards. Admins see every call and can correct a point with a note.
Do calls need to be recorded with consent?
Yes. Scoring stays off until an admin switches it on in settings and confirms that your calls are recorded with consent.
Which plans include it?
Pro and Enterprise, and every free trial. It is not on Basic. Each scored call uses your workspace's AI credits.
How do I turn it on?
Connect Fireflies, tl;dv or Granola, then an admin switches on call scoring in the Sales calls settings.
