Create your workspace and sign in

Start a 14-day trial of Verbial with a verified email and Google sign-in, no card and no sales call required.

This article walks you through creating a Verbial workspace and signing in for the first time. By the end you have a live workspace on its own subdomain, a 14-day trial running, and an admin account ready to run setup.

Steps

  1. Go to /signup and enter your work email, your agency name, and the workspace id you want. The id becomes your workspace's address, so pick something short.
  2. Check your inbox for the verification link. Nothing is created until you click it, which is what stops anyone from claiming your agency's name with your address.
  3. Click the link. Verbial provisions a dedicated database for the workspace. This takes a moment; the page tells you when it is ready.
  4. Sign in with the Google account that owns the email you used. There is no password to set.
  5. You land in the setup wizard as the workspace's first admin. See Run the setup wizard.

What you get during the trial

The trial lasts 14 days and runs with the modules of the plan you pick during setup. A banner at the top of the app counts the days down. When the trial ends without a subscription, the workspace turns read-only: everyone can look, nobody can change anything, until an admin chooses a plan. Nothing is deleted.

What to check

  • The verification link is single use and expires after 24 hours. Request a new one from the signup page if it lapses.
  • If the workspace id you want is taken, the signup form says so. That is the one case where the form gives a specific answer; everything else is deliberately non-specific so addresses cannot be enumerated.
  • Team members cannot sign up on their own. An admin invites them, and they sign in with Google using the invited address. See Invite a teammate.

Notes

Your workspace runs in its own Postgres database from the first minute. Snapshots, export, and deletion are described in How your data is stored and protected.

Questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The trial runs 14 days without a card. You add a payment method only when you choose a plan at Settings, then Account & billing, then Billing.

Can my team sign in with a password?

No. Verbial uses Google sign-in only. Each person signs in with the Google account that matches the email they were invited with.

What if I changed my Google email after my first sign-in?

Your identity is bound to the Google account on first sign-in, not the address. If the same Google account later carries a new primary email, you keep access.

Still stuck? Reach support from inside your workspace and a person who runs Verbial every day will answer.
