Compare

Most agencies run three tools that never talk to each other.

A sales CRM, a time tracker and a proposal tool. Verbial is one system where the deal, the hours, the invoice and the margin all stay connected. Here is how that compares to what you are paying for now.

HubSpot

A sales and marketing CRM built for software companies. Strong pipelines and email, but delivery work, hours and client profitability live somewhere else entirely.

Verbial

Verbial is a HubSpot alternative for agencies that need a CRM plus operations, not marketing automation. A won deal becomes the proposal, agreement, invoice and retainer budget without a handoff; keep HubSpot Marketing if you run large-scale automation for your own funnel.

Honest fit

When we are the wrong answer.

Not usYou resell a marketing platform

If your clients log into software you sell them, GoHighLevel or a white-label suite is the better spine. Verbial runs the agency, not the client's funnels.

Not usYou are two people

Under about five people a spreadsheet and an invoicing tool genuinely cost less and lose nothing. Come back when hand-offs start dropping things.

Good fitYou bill for people's time

10 to 40 people, retainers and projects, hours that must turn into invoices and margin you can only guess at today. This is the case Verbial was built for.

Good fitYou are paying for three tools

A CRM, a tracker and a proposal tool with a spreadsheet stitching them together. One system, one bill, and the numbers stop disagreeing.

Switching

Moving over takes an afternoon, not a quarter.

Import clients and deals

CSV from your CRM, or we do it with you on a call. Owners, stages and values arrive intact.

Bring in open work

Active projects, retainers and unbilled hours. Everything closed stays in your old tool as history.

Point invoicing at Verbial

Next billing run goes out from here, on your brand, with the hours attached to it.

Cancel one tool at a time

Most agencies drop the proposal tool first, the tracker at month end, the CRM after one clean cycle.

Common questions

Is this comparison biased?

We built Verbial, so of course we prefer it. What we can promise is that the rows are checked against public documentation and list pricing on the date shown, that we say plainly where a competitor is deeper, and that the "when we are the wrong answer" section is not decoration.

Where is Verbial genuinely behind?

Productive.io and Scoro have years more depth in resource planning, forecasting and multi-entity finance. If you need scenario-based capacity planning across 200 people today, they will serve you better. Our bet is that most agencies need one honest number per client, not a planning suite.

Can we run it alongside our CRM for a while?

Yes. Most teams keep their old CRM read-only for a cycle. Check current integration availability before planning your transition.

What happens to our history if we leave?

Every object exports to CSV, with programmatic export subject to plan availability. No lock-in clause, no export fee, no waiting on support to release your data.

Run the comparison on your own numbers.

Start a 14-day trial and import a month of your work so the first thing you see is your own margin, not a demo dataset.
