Set up Slack notifications and connected accounts

Notifications reach you in-app, by email, and on Slack, per event type, inside your working hours. Connections link your own accounts on other services. This article configures both.

Slack notifications

1. Ask an admin to confirm Slack is configured under Settings, then Platform health.
2. Go to Team, open your profile, and enter your Slack member id.
3. Go to Settings, then Notifications. Each event type has three toggles: in-app, email, and Slack. Switch on Slack for the events you want.
4. Set your working hours, working days, and timezone. Outside that window, email and Slack are suppressed; in-app is never suppressed.
5. Under Allocation alert thresholds, add the percentages you personally want to hear about. Directors default to 80% and 100%.

Slack messages arrive as a DM with a View in Verbial button.

Per-brand email overrides

If you work across brands, route brand-scoped mail to different inboxes on the same page. A proposal comment for one brand goes to that brand's inbox. A brand-aligned address is also required to have replies to proposals you send routed correctly.

Connections

1. Go to Help & records, then Connections (Settings, then Connections).
2. Click Connect next to a provider and approve the prompt. Fireflies is available today: it lets prospect intel on a proposal show the calls you have already had with a company, searched as you.
3. Disconnect from the same page at any time. Revoke on the provider's side too if you want a clean break.

What to check

• Meeting transcripts from Fireflies, tl;dv, Granola, and Gemini can reach the CRM through webhooks configured by an admin under CRM settings.
• Settings, then Platform health, shows whether each integration is configured and when it last did anything, without calling any third party.
