Delete your workspace
Schedule deletion from Settings, then Account & billing, then Data, understand the 30-day grace period, and cancel if you change your mind.
Deleting the workspace removes every record for everyone in it. It is deliberately a two-step action with a long grace period. This article runs it and shows how to reverse it.
Steps
- Export your data first if you want to keep any of it. See Export all workspace data.
- Go to Settings, then Account & billing, then Data.
- In the Danger zone, click Delete workspace.
- Type the workspace id exactly as shown and click Schedule deletion.
- The workspace locks at once. Nobody can sign in to work, and any subscription is cancelled. The owner receives an email with the destruction date.
The grace period
- The data is kept for 30 days, shown on the Data tab with the exact date.
- A snapshot is taken at the moment of the request as the last restore point.
- During the grace period an admin can still open Settings, then Account & billing, export data, and cancel the deletion.
- Custom and brand hostnames are released at destruction. The workspace id stays reserved so nobody else can claim the address.
Cancel the deletion
- Go to Settings, then Account & billing, then Data.
- Click Cancel deletion. The lock lifts immediately and everyone can sign in again. Billing does not resume on its own; start a subscription again from the Billing tab if you want to keep working.
After the grace period
The database is destroyed, snapshots are pruned, and the workspace remains only as a tombstone that holds the id. There is no undo after that point.
What to check
- Deletion requests, cancellations, and destruction are recorded as lifecycle events and mailed to the owner.
- A single person leaving the agency is handled by archiving them under Team, not by deleting the workspace.
- Client data-subject requests are handled per contact in the CRM, not by workspace deletion.
Questions
Is deletion immediate?
The workspace locks immediately and any subscription is cancelled. The database is destroyed after a 30-day grace period. During those 30 days an admin can export data or cancel the deletion with one click.
Can support recover data after the grace period?
No. Once the grace period passes the database and its snapshots are gone.
Does cancelling the subscription delete anything?
No. Cancelling ends billing and makes the workspace read-only. Deletion is a separate, explicit action.
